Make videos by writing a web page instead of editing

View profile on GitHub (opens in a new tab)HyperFrames, from the video company HeyGen, turns a web page into a video file: you write HTML and CSS, add animations you can scrub along a timeline, and it renders a finished MP4.
It is built for AI agents — plug-ins teach coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor a loop of planning the video, writing the page, previewing and rendering — but you can drive it from the terminal yourself. A catalog of ready-made building blocks, such as data charts, speeds up jobs. The team’s headline promise is determinism: the same page always renders the same video, unlike generative video that rolls the dice on every run.
Can I use this?
You'll need Node.js 22 or newer on your computer · Setup needed
Worth knowing This renders motion graphics from pages you design; it does not dream up video from a text prompt the way generative models do — the visuals are only as good as the page behind them. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
