Browse hundreds of hand-picked reading lists on any tech topic

View profile on GitHub (opens in a new tab)This is the original "Awesome list": a single hub page linking out to hundreds of curated lists of tools, libraries, books and resources, organized by topic — programming languages, security, databases, hardware, and far beyond software into things like business and health.
Each linked list is its own separate, community-maintained repository following the same simple format, which is why the pattern spread into thousands of "Awesome X" lists across GitHub. It is a directory to read and follow links from, not software to install.
You could use it to…
- Browse hundreds of hand-picked reading lists on any topic
- Find the tools people in an unfamiliar field already rely on
- Jump into any linked “Awesome” list from one hub page

Worth knowing Quality and how current a linked list stays depends entirely on that list's own maintainers; the hub itself does not verify or keep any of them up to date.
