An open business management platform that bundles the systems a small company normally buys separately: staff records and time tracking, a customer and sales pipeline, projects and tasks, invoicing and expenses, inventory, and an applicant tracking system for hiring.

It is built as headless APIs with a dashboard on top — headless meaning the data and logic live behind an interface any client can call — so the same back end can serve a web app, a mobile app or something you write yourself. The project also publishes a companion product, Ever Teams, for work and project management on the same APIs.

Worth knowing This is a platform rather than a single tool, and running it yourself means running a database, the APIs and the front end and keeping them updated — the cost moves from a subscription to your own time. It is AGPL-3.0, so a modified version offered to others over a network has to publish its source under the same licence. Employee activity and productivity monitoring is one of its features, which is something to agree with your team before switching on. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
