Give a team of AI agents a business goal and watch them run it
Made by Paperclip
View profile on GitHub (opens in a new tab)Paperclip is an open-source dashboard for hiring and running a whole team of AI agents toward one goal, like "build the #1 AI note-taking app to $1M MRR." You define the goal, assign roles such as CEO, engineers and marketers, and set a budget; the agents come from tools you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenClaw — while Paperclip tracks status, cost and progress from one screen.
It runs as a self-hosted Node.js server with a web dashboard, started from a terminal command. The creators describe it as "the company" to a single coding agent's "employee."
You could use it to…
- Give a team of AI agents a business goal and a budget
- Assign roles like CEO, engineer and marketer to agents
- Watch cost and progress for the whole team from one screen
Can I use this?
You'll need Node.js and a terminal, plus API keys for the agents you connect · Setup needed
Worth knowing This orchestrates autonomous agents that can spend money and take real actions against a budget you set; the creators’ own claims about running a business this way are unverified by anyone outside the project. MIT licence. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
