View profile on GitHub (opens in a new tab)Univer is an open-source software toolkit (SDK) for embedding spreadsheet, document and presentation editing into your own product, rather than a finished app you open.
It runs the same architecture in the browser and on a server (Node.js), so a workbook can be processed in the same way a person edits it interactively, and it is built with AI agents in mind: metrics, charts and controls on a page can be bound to specific cells so an agent can read or change them. A companion project, Univer Workspace, is a ready-made, self-hostable example app built on the same SDK.
