It is a Next.js web app using Finnhub for market data and TradingView widgets for charts, with accounts and a database so alerts and watchlists persist. The project is explicit about what it is not — community-built and not a brokerage, with market data that may be delayed depending on the provider and your configuration, and nothing in it offered as financial advice.

Worth knowing The project’s own disclaimers are the important ones and BuildTube repeats them rather than softening them: this is not a brokerage, the data may be delayed depending on your provider plan, and nothing it shows is financial advice. Accuracy depends on the data service you connect, and a delayed price shown without qualification is how people make expensive mistakes. It is AGPL-3.0, so a hosted modified version must publish its source. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
