Add planning and evidence rules on top of the Hermes agent
Made by hope
View profile on GitHub (opens in a new tab)An operating layer installed on top of Hermes Agent, the open agent from Nous Research.
It does not replace Hermes or hide another tool behind it; it frames the request first — deciding which capability is being asked for, picking a workflow, setting evidence gates — and then runs Hermes’s own skills inside that governed path. The stated goal is that an ordinary request comes back as a clear capability, a useful next step, and an honest record of what actually happened. It covers planning, research, creation, coding handoffs, operations and project memory.
Can I use this?
You'll need Hermes Agent installed · Setup needed
Worth knowing It is an addition to Hermes, so it is only useful if you already run Hermes and inherits whatever that agent can and cannot do. "Evidence boundaries" is the project’s own framing for how it separates what was verified from what was assumed — a discipline it imposes on the agent’s reporting, not a guarantee the underlying work was right. Installation requires a separate setup step after the install command, which the project marks as required. MIT licence. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
