Turn a single photo into a downloadable 3D model
Made by Microsoft
View profile on Hugging Face (opens in a new tab)TRELLIS.2 is Microsoft's image-to-3D model: give it one picture of an object and it generates a full 3D asset — a mesh with physically based rendering materials, including transparent or translucent parts — using a 4-billion-parameter model and a new “O-Voxel” representation designed to handle shapes that older methods struggle with, such as open surfaces and thin structures.
This official Space is the interactive demo: upload a photo, generate, then view and download the 3D result. Useful for game or 3D artists, hobbyists, or anyone who wants a rough 3D asset from a product photo without modeling software.
You could use it to…
- Upload one product photo and generate a full 3D asset
- Download a mesh with materials, including transparent or translucent parts
- Try Microsoft's own 4-billion-parameter model with nothing to install

Worth knowing Generation on a shared public demo can be slow or queued; the model card notes output resolution varies (512³ to 1536³ voxel grid) depending on the object, so complex scenes may come out rougher than a hero example. BuildTube has not run or verified this software.
